Shutterstorm Photography
InDIGENOUS
Shutterstorm photographer, Farley Ward, is a proud Gamilaroi woman and is passionate about preserving the First Peoples traditions and cultural knowledge through her photography. Farley is well recognised for her work with Indigenous events and businesses such as Link-Up Qld, NAIDOC Week, NuunaRon, Nandjimanji Art Exhibitions, Murri Kinnections, Mimburi and the Mornington Island Festival, to name a few. We have also assisted large companies to engage with Indigenous talent to feature in marketing and advertising.
Farley is the creator of the Digital Dreaming Project, a program designed to pay respect to traditional Elders and their sacred knowledge, to inspire and encourage young people to take part in the preservation of cultural practices through the use of digital technology. We take these workshops to schools in remote Aboriginal communities across Australia.
